Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SkulMate platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SkulMate is a cloud-based school management platform designed for Papua New Guinea schools. The Service provides tools for student management, attendance tracking, fee management, academic assessments, report card generation, and related administrative functions.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Each school account must be managed by an authorised school representative (principal, head teacher, or designated administrator).
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SkulMate only for lawful school administration purposes. You must not:

• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent student or financial records.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorised persons.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable Papua New Guinea laws.

5. Data Ownership

All school, student, and financial data you enter into SkulMate remains your property. By using the Service, you grant SkulMate a limited licence to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond our control may result in temporary unavailability.

7. Free and Paid Plans

SkulMate offers a free tier for eligible schools. Certain advanced features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details will be communicated in advance.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, you may request an export of your school data within 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

SkulMate is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkulMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered administrators of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Papua New Guinea.
